I kid you not. That is what they said. As a result tanning beds will now face a 10% surtax on each session or sale. Call me insane but how does not taxing botox and cosmetic surgery (elective) but taxing tanning beds help make this revenue neutral again? You see, the problem with this theory is the National Association of Women have an image problem as they proudly pronounced themselves as the unshaven, unwashed, hairy pit au naturale version of the modern free thinking woman for years and what the hell are they worried about with their image?
As you can see, we now understand why N.O.W. wants cosmetic surgery to be tax free but sadly, the billions of dollars it would take to clean up their image and “help” them find jobs in the normal workforce that most of us encounter on a daily basis. So those cute little sexy ladies going into the tanning booth are just going to have to pay a wee bit more to stay sexy year round and the behemoths that represent the NAGs will get taxpayer subsidized dollars as they grunt, grown and howl into their plastic surgeon’s office who has a file for them titled “FUTILITY.”
The least the N.A.G.S. could do is cook their food before they eat it.

I just don’t know what has happened to this country . I heard about the botox tax that became the tanning bed tax . I think congress is crazy . We should throw all of them out and start all over again but with term limits .This MOPE , that means Management of Perspective Economics is really crazy .It is an actual school of economic theory that Bernanke’s crowd subscribes to . I guess if you blow enough smoke up everybody’s tuchass about economic recovery , it will really happen . Like wishing on a star .It ain’t the Change you were hopin’ for , now was it ??!

My wife, who is half asian and half latino, figured out the significance of the tanning bed tax instantly. Who many minorities use tanning beds? The democrates have come up with the perfect tax. For those caucasians who voted for Obama an use tanning beds, this will simply be another way to expiate their white sins.
